DAVID SCHMIDT, DDS, MD

Doctor Schmidt has been practicing oral surgery since 2003. In 2010 he relocated to the Fond du Lac area and then began practicing with Oral Surgery Associates Ltd. 

Doctor Schmidt pursued collegiate baseball at the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh, and then transferred to the University of Wisconsin Madison to complete his premedical studies. He attended Marquette University College of Dentistry where he received his Doctorate of Dental Surgery (DDS). Doctor Schmidt completed his Medical Doctorate (MD) at the University Of Kentucky College Of Medicine where he specialized in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. 

Doctor Schmidt resides on his farm in Ashford, Wisconsin with his three children. He enjoys the countryside and outdoors of the Kettle Moraine region. His hobbies include his antique farm equipment restoration and his historic sawmill operations.

Specialty procedures include: medicine, anesthesia, facial trauma, dental surgery (including wisdom teeth removal), head and neck pathology, bone & soft tissue grafting for dental implants, and dental implant placement. Dr. Schmidt consults with St. Agnes Hospital (SSM) and St. Joseph Hospital (Froedtert).

Professional organizations include: American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, American Dental Association, American Medical Association, Wisconsin Society of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, Fond du Lac County Dental Society, Fond du Lac Medical Society, and the Washington/Ozaukee County Dental Society.
