Wisdom Teeth
Our doctors frequently remove wisdom teeth in the office setting. Wisdom teeth or third molars are most easily removed between the ages of 12-18 years of age depending on their stage of development. All patients with wisdom teeth should have their teeth evaluated by their dentist or our surgeons to plan their removal.
Wisdom teeth are removed to prevent cysts or tumors from developing around the impacted teeth, damaging adjacent teeth as they erupt or the development of periodontal defects (pockets and bone loss) around adjacent teeth.
